With decades of combined experience, we know that our job is to understand your unique situation and perform the specific repairs that your vehicle needs. We stand behind those repairs with nationwide warranties.

It’s no wonder generations of loyal customers drive from all across the Poconos for our transmission and auto repair services!

Convenience, value, and honest communication. Those are the Top 3 things people report looking for when shopping for a new auto repair mechanic. You too?

At Lee Myles AutoCare and Transmission in Stroudsburg, PA, not only do we have a technical staff with the advanced automotive knowledge they need to repair your vehicle efficiently and economically, we also have a service team dedicated to making sure you understand in "Plain English" what is going on with your car. Refreshing, right? Customers trust us because rather than keeping you in the dark, we want to be sure you feel comfortable with the explanantions you're given - even texting or emailing you pictures as needed when your car is in for service!

We're located on Rt 611 next door to Martz Bus Lines (if you're standing in line, look over your left shoulder.  Yeah, that's us. Right there.)  It doesn't get any more convenient than dropping off your keys, getting repairs & scheduled maintenance done while you're away and picking up after your daily commute. Let us know your communication preference and we'll keep in touch with you in the way you like best.

Since 1947 - Our goal is "Customers for Life" and it shows in every detail of what we do.

Whether you need us for the big stuff like a transmission rebuild (many people think they need a new transmission but they really don't) or for oil changes and everyday maintenance, you can trust your Car Care and Auto Repair to your friends at Lee Myles!

Our History

Lee Myles AutoCare and Transmission in Stroudsburg was Established in 1947.

Our founder, Lee Myles, formed his own "big band" during the 1930's, but he was also a skilled automobile technician. In 1947 when he heard about the problems with the "new" automatic transmissions, he opened a transmission center to service them. The rest was history.

Our Stroudsburg Lee Myles has its roots in New Jersey. Mike & Chris Benner began their center across the river before deciding to follow their heart here to the PA Poconos. Mike's passion was to always offer excellence, keeping his team up-to-date on advanced technology so they could take pride in their high quality auto repair.

When Mike passed unexpectedly in 2015, Darren & Jodi Knepper set out to build on the foundation he'd laid. They focused on what customers want most: convenience, relationship, and technology that enhances the customer experience (sending videos of what we see under their hood, texting at work instead of calls, online repair records...). After all, technology has always been what we do best!
